Custom ASP.NET CMS – Steven E. Esienberg

Steven E. Eisenberg is an attorney at law, who was looking for someone to update his website and increase search engine visibility. The original website (which looks much like the one that is currently active today) consisted of a image base design; the home page and a few others were basically images that were cropped and positioned on an html page. The problem with this approach is that search engines cannot crawl the text embedded within the image, resulting in the website not indexing proprely.

I proposed a redesign that would give seisenberg.com the same look and feel, but instead, I utilized CSS and javascript in place of the images to achieve the same look and feel. I also provided Mr. Eisenberg with the ability to manage his own website content by creating an administration section in which Mr. Eisenberg could login, edit his web pages and articles with a WYS/WYG (What You See / is What You Get) editor as well as a section for imports RSS feeds.

I create the site to be fully SEO friendly, Mr. Eisenberg has the ability to search engine optimize his website by specifying the web page title, meta keywords and description, web page URL and even menu text.  The site is allow equipped with the ability to submit its sitemap file to Google, Bing and Yahoo via a custom programmed sitemap submitting utility.
